About Thomas Lawn Care

Half of Johnstown is uphill. Yards run in short steep terraces off the hillside streets, and getting a mower across them takes a plan — that is daily arithmetic for Thomas Lawn Care. The Inclined Plane climbs the same slope all day above Westmont, and from up there the city's green squares stand out one at a time against the brick. Mowing, string trimming along walls and step treads, edging the walk, and clearing the clippings so nothing washes down to the next house. Steep ground finished neatly looks better than flat ground finished neatly, and everyone on the street knows the difference.
