Nevins & Evans Lawn Care

About Nevins & Evans Lawn Care

Half the yards in Southmont are hillsides pretending to be lawns, dropping away in terraces toward the valley floor. Nevins & Evans Lawn Care takes them on with the footing and the angles figured out ahead of time — mowing across the slope, trimming along retaining walls and stair edges, keeping the grass even where a machine has to be walked rather than ridden. Flat ground is easy; a steep bank cut clean is something a person can stop and admire from the street below. The reward comes at dusk, when the terraces stripe evenly the whole way down. That is the standard the work is held to here in Johnstown.
