About JQ'S tree service

Up on the hill above the city the borough streets run flat and shaded, lined with trees that were planted when the houses were new. JQ'S tree service works that canopy in the cold months, when the leaves are down and every crossing limb and old wound is out in plain sight — pruning season, and the right stretch of the year to trim back whatever has grown over a roof or a sidewalk. Tree removal comes when a trunk has gone hollow, done in sections so the flower beds below never know it happened. After a wet snow loads the crowns and branches start letting go along the trail below town, storm damage cleanup gets the streets and drives open again. Winter light coming through a well-kept tree is a quiet thing to be proud of.
