About Rock Bottom Construction, LLC

Dawn in Jermyn during a cold snap is a particular shade of blue — the Lackawanna River steaming, the Moosic Mountains still dark, the whole valley holding still. Rock Bottom Construction, LLC is already out in it, plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, and putting salt down on pitched borough streets that ice first and thaw last. Storms come down this valley one behind another and pile up more than the flatland ever sees, so snow removal here is about showing up again and again rather than once. The reward is ordinary and good: a cleared drive at first light and a day that starts on time. Jermyn, Mayfield, Archbald, Carbondale, Jessup and Olyphant.
