About Cargan Outdoor Living

Winter arrives in Imperial on a west wind, sliding down the ridges toward the old Montour rail bed before anyone in Findlay Township has turned on a kitchen light. Cargan Outdoor Living works those hours — blade down, the driveway opened while the runway lights out past the treeline are still the brightest thing on the horizon. Snow here comes in the long patient kind, filling hillside lanes and the flat aprons in front of garages, and it takes a plan to keep ahead of it. There is real satisfaction in the clean black stripe of pavement left behind, salted and sure, and in a walk cleared wide enough for two people to pass. When the truck pulls out at dawn, the day can start on time.
