About Grassworks, Inc.

On a Saturday morning the square in Hummelstown fills up slowly — errands, coffee, a stroller on the brick — while out in the surrounding blocks the mowers are already running. Grassworks, Inc. keeps those lawns cut, edged along the walks, and cleaned out in spring and fall when the maples let go. The borough's older properties reward attention: narrow strips of grass, tight corners, a hedge line that wants a straight cut. In winter that same attention goes to plowing and shoveling, and to salting the steps that face north and never see sun. It is steady outdoor work for a town that notices.
