About Earth Workers Landscaping

Hummelstown was cut out of brownstone, and in winter the old quarry town takes on that same color under the streetlights — brown, then gray, then white by morning. Earth Workers Landscaping gets out ahead of the white: plowing the drives above the Swatara, clearing lots along the highway, opening the narrow in-town driveways where there is nowhere to put the pile except exactly the right spot. Storms come up this valley and can turn from snow to sleet inside an hour, so timing is everything and waiting is the mistake. The payoff is a street of driveways scraped down clean while the sky is still dark. Walkways too, wide enough to actually walk.
