G.O.'s Tree service

About G.O.'s Tree service

Chartiers Creek runs the length of this valley, and the hills on either side of Houston rise fast enough to hold the mornings in shadow. G.O.'s Tree service works those slopes and the flat streets down along the water, where old shade trees lean out over yards laid out a century ago. Tree removal on a hillside lot is half rigging and half patience; tree trimming and pruning are the parts that keep a healthy tree from ever needing that day. Summer evenings, when heat lightning stacks up over the Washington County ridges and the wind comes running down the valley, the calls arrive — storm damage cleanup, a driveway to open, a fence to free. It is a good feeling to hand a yard back with the sky visible again and nothing left overhead to worry about.
