The name Honey Brook comes down from the Welsh — a honey stream — and the ground around it still runs to hayfields, hedgerows and the headwaters of the West Branch Brandywine. By September the pastures have gone gold at their edges and the mowing settles into a steadier rhythm. Countryside Lawn Care keeps to that rhythm: cutting, trimming along fence posts and foundations, edging the walks, and gathering the leaves that come down all at once after the first hard night. A lawn kept honestly through the fall looks better the following May, and that is the long game out here. Honey Brook and the farm roads that leave it in every direction make up the whole territory.
