Adam's Hardscape & Excavation

About Adam's Hardscape & Excavation

North of Honesdale the Dyberry comes down out of the hemlocks cold enough to steam, and in January the roads beside it hold snow long after the valley floor has let it go. Adam's Hardscape & Excavation runs the plow through those mornings, before the sky over Wayne County has gone from black to slate. Driveways get opened end to end, walks get cleared and salted, lots get pushed back to their edges so the next storm has somewhere to land. There's a particular satisfaction in a lane that's ready before anyone in the house has found their boots. That is the whole aim of the winter here, and it is aim enough.
