Bryners Lawn Care

About Bryners Lawn Care

Two Lick Creek runs the length of Homer City, cider-colored after a rain and glassy by August, and the yards that step down toward it grow fast in the humid Indiana County summer. Bryners Lawn Care answers that growth on a steady turn — mowing on a straight line, edging the walk until the border reads sharp enough to follow with a finger. Route 119 carries the borough's traffic past hayfields and coal-seam hills, and a lawn cut level is the first thing anyone notices from the road. Come December the same streets go white overnight, and the plowing starts in the dark so a driveway is open by the time the kitchen light goes on. Two kinds of weather, one town, and the same standard held through both.
