About Wes Roberts Landscaping LLC

Some Hermitage mornings begin in the dark, with snow coming down off Lake Erie for hours while the valley is still asleep. Wes Roberts Landscaping LLC is out in it before first light, plow down, clearing driveways and lots on the flats near Route 62 so the early shift finds nothing in its way but open pavement and a straight run to the road. Come the thaw, the blades come off and the mowers go on, because grass on this river-bottom ground grows fast once it gets going. There is a real pleasure in a cut that lies even, an edge held true, and a walk swept clean before the truck pulls away. Winter dark or July heat, the aim doesn't change: a place in Hermitage that plainly looks after itself.
