About Tree Guys Tree Service

Winter reaches Hawley's steep side streets before it gets anywhere else, and an ice storm off the Poconos can load a maple until it lets go in the dark. Tree Guys Tree Service spends those weeks in the bucket, clearing storm damage from driveways cut into hillsides where there is barely room to set the outriggers. The rest of the year is the quieter half of the trade — tree removal for the trunks that never leafed out again, tree trimming to lift a canopy off a porch roof, pruning done in the cold months when the tree barely notices. Out along the Kimbles and Beach Lake roads they know which bends the wind funnels through and which yards will call after a hard night. When the truck pulls out, all that's left is a low, level cut and a lawn you could walk in slippers.
