About Cheetah Excavating, LLC.

Half the driveways around Hawley are gravel and most of them climb. Cheetah Excavating, LLC. plows them — pushing the storm back, cutting the banks wide at the turns, breaking up the ice that forms where meltwater crosses a slope and freezes again by dark. On the ridges above the Paupack a drive can hold snow a full week longer than the road below it. The work is plowing, clearing and hauling snow out of the places it insists on piling. Getting a truck up a steep grade in February never stops being satisfying.
