Landis Tree Service

About Landis Tree Service

North of the borough line Hatfield still keeps its hayfields, and the hedgerow maples that once marked a farmer's fence now shade somebody's back deck. Landis Tree Service reads those old trees the way you'd read a field edge — where a limb has gone heavy over a roof, where one pruning cut now saves a fight ten winters from here. The work runs from tree removal on tight borough lots to tree trimming that lets the afternoon back onto a lawn along the Souderton road. When a line storm comes barreling east across the flat farm ground and drops half a silver maple across a driveway, the storm damage cleanup starts at first light and the drive is open before the second cup of coffee. What's left behind is a quiet yard, a level cut, and the smell of green wood on the morning air.
