J.S. Contracting

About J.S. Contracting

Fog pools in the low fields along Cowpath Road on autumn mornings and burns off by nine, and that is about when the mowers start. J.S. Contracting works those yards, cutting, trimming, edging, and hauling the fall leaf load off before it mats down over the grass. Winter turns the same routes white, and the trucks go back out to plow driveways, shovel walks and steps, and salt the ice that forms where wind scours a lot clean. Hatfield sits between farm ground and neighborhood, and the work fits both. Open in January, green and even in June.
