Green Acres

About Green Acres

Hatfield Township is flat enough that weather arrives with plenty of warning — you can watch a squall line cross the open ground long before it reaches the driveway. Green Acres uses the warning. In winter that means plowing, opening walks and laying salt ahead of the freeze; through the growing months it means mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups on a schedule a yard can lean on. Wind out here scours a cleared lot bare and then drops the drift right back onto the pavement, so the job isn't finished until it is actually finished. Green Acres keeps yards across Hatfield Township cut in summer and open in winter.
