About Cornerstone Excavating & Trucking

Four in the morning on the Westmoreland ridges, and the fields above Harrison City are one long sheet of blue-white. That is the hour this snow removal outfit likes best — headlights on Route 130, the plow down, the first clean stripe cut through a lot that was buried an hour ago. Drives get opened wide enough for a work truck, edges squared back to the pavement, and salt goes down before the melt has a chance to turn to glass. When a storm stacks up past what a lot can hold, the trucks carry it off entirely. By the time the valley wakes and the coffee is on, the work already looks like it was never needed.
