About Elmer's Landscaping

East of Harrisburg the ground opens into limestone farm country, long fields rolling toward Hummelstown with hedgerows, fencelines and stone working its way up through the soil. Elmer's Landscaping brings that country pace to the work: mowing and trimming through the growing months, edging and seasonal cleanups as things change over, and plowing, shoveling and salting once the fields go white. Out where the wind has room, snow refuses to stay where you put it — a lane blown clear at dawn can be drifted shut by afternoon and need pushing all over again. Turf on limestone ground dries out fast in August and wants the mower set high, which is the sort of thing you only learn by mowing it. Different seasons, same errand: keep the place usable and looking the way it should.
