About Tom's Lawn and Landscape Services

Tussey's shadow falls early across Harris Township, so the eastern yards cool first and the frost sits on them longest. Tom's Lawn and Landscape Services follows the ground through both halves of the year — mowing, trimming, edging and landscape upkeep while it is green, plowing, shoveling and salting once it turns. The limestone here makes for soft hollows and sudden dips, and knowing where they are matters as much behind a plow blade as behind a mower deck. Ground that gets tended in July is easier to read in February, when it is all one color. A striped lawn and an opened driveway are the same accomplishment in different weather, and this township asks for both.
