Shane's Lawn Care Service

About Shane's Lawn Care Service

November is the hinge of the year around Hanover: the last cut goes down, the light drops out of the afternoon early, and everyone starts glancing at the sky over toward the Adams County line. Shane's Lawn Care Service works both sides of that hinge, mowing, trimming and edging from the first flush of spring through the final pass of autumn, then plowing driveways and lots and clearing and salting walks once winter takes hold. The pleasure is in the before and after, a lane opened at five in the morning, a yard squared off on a Thursday in June. Ground out toward New Oxford and Abbottstown drifts differently than a shaded street in the borough, and the work accounts for that. Same properties, same attention, whatever the sky happens to be doing.
