About Nathan's Tree Service LLC

At Halifax the Susquehanna spreads wide and shallow, islands sitting green in the middle of it and Peters Mountain closing off the view downriver. Big sycamores and silver maples hold the bank, and the lots along Route 147 carry plenty of shade that has to be kept in order. Nathan's Tree Service LLC removes what has gone hollow or started leaning, trims the limbs hanging over a roof or a porch, and prunes so a young tree makes its decisions early and correctly. Summer storms come up the water fast and loud; by the next afternoon the downed wood is cut, the brush is hauled and the lawn is raked clean. On a July evening with the river running low, that open green stretch is exactly what the day was for.
