Penns Valley is a long limestone floor with the Seven Mountains lying across the far end of it, and the white oaks in Haines Township look modest only until you are standing at the base of one. From up in a canopy, a valley farm reads as straight rows and squared corners. The job is to leave the ground looking that way too.
