About Harvey's Turf

Evening in the borough belongs to the side yards and alleys — narrow ribbons of grass between brick houses, a garage apron, a patch out back big enough for a table and two chairs. Harvey's Turf keeps those small spaces trim, mowing tight to the fence, running the edger along the alley line, blowing the walk clean before moving on. In a place this compact an untidy strip shows immediately, and a well-kept one shows just as fast. The season runs from the spring cleanup through the weekly cutting and out the other end with leaves and a last tidying. Cut grass on a warm Westmoreland evening is one of the plainest pleasures there is, and this outfit makes a lot of it.
