Conner Services

About Conner Services

The old Lincoln Highway climbs east out of Greensburg toward the ridges, and in January that grade is where winter proves its point. Conner Services runs snow work along it and through the neighborhoods below — plowing drives and lots, opening walks, laying salt where slope and shade conspire. The forecast can promise an inch and the ridge can hand over five; the plan is simply to be out in it, and then out in it again. Nothing about the job is loud. It is a dark cab, a warm thermos, headlights full of falling snow, and a town that wakes up able to leave.
