Happy Tree

About Happy Tree

Water shapes Green Lane: the Perkiomen slips past the edge of the borough, the reservoir spreads out north of town, and the whole valley holds its color longer than it has any right to. Happy Tree mows in that dampness, where a warm June rain can turn a trim yard shaggy inside a week. The routine is steady — grass cut at the right height, string trimmer around posts and fence lines, a firm edge cut where the lawn meets the walk. Come October the maples let go all at once and the work turns to raking, hauling and clearing until the turf can breathe again. Yards in Pennsburg, East Greenville, Red Hill and Sumneytown are on the same weekly run.
