About N&W Enterprises

The road east out of Greeley runs through hemlock ravines toward Shohola, and after a night of snow it is a tunnel of white with nothing moving on it yet. N&W Enterprises is in that stillness early, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks down to the surface, laying salt where shade and slope conspire. Up here the snow can fall light and dry one week and heavy as wet sand the next, and the blade has to be set for whichever showed up. Working a property all the way out — corners, turnarounds, the strip along the garage door — is what keeps it from shrinking storm by storm. By the time the light comes up over the trees, the day is possible again.
