J.P's Maintenance

About J.P's Maintenance

Winter is the long season in Warren County, and Glade takes it straight — squalls coming off the plateau, snow building on the river road, the days closing down by five. J.P's Maintenance runs through that: plowing driveways open, clearing walks and steps, coming back when the wind refills a cut in an hour and it has to be done over. There is no talking a northern-tier winter into being smaller than it is, so the answer is showing up and moving it. Somewhere near dawn the squall band slides east, the hemlocks stand loaded, and a clear drive runs out to the road. That is the work, and it is good work.
