About Rough Cut Landscaping

The blue hour before a winter sunrise belongs to the back roads between Gilbertsville and Sassamansville, when the fields hold light before the sky does. Rough Cut Landscaping is out in it, plowing drives clean down to the gravel, cutting a turnaround where a truck needs to swing wide, chopping the ice off a set of front steps. De-icer goes down last, along the walk, where boots will actually land. It is unglamorous, cold-fingered work, and there is something deeply good about handing somebody back their morning. That is the service, straight through a Montgomery County winter.
