About D & K landscaping and Snow Removal LLC

Gilbert sits in the lap of Polk Township, where the Pocono ground rolls south toward the long wall of Blue Mountain. D & K landscaping and Snow Removal LLC works the year in two halves — mowing, trimming and edging with spring and fall cleanups while the fields are green, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ridge starts throwing snow down the valley. Winter is generous here and not always kind; a nor'easter can lay a foot across a driveway between supper and sunrise. Opening it before the commute is the job, and doing it without tearing up the gravel is the skill. Come May the same lanes need cutting again, and the whole circle starts over, greener.
