B&D Snow Removal and Landscaping

About B&D Snow Removal and Landscaping

The first real snow usually finds Gibsonia in the dark, in November, while the hills out toward Deer Lakes are still holding a few brown oak leaves. B&D Snow Removal and Landscaping watches for it and rolls: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and entry steps, spreading salt on the slick pitch where a driveway meets the road. Around here a drive runs uphill, downhill, or bends around a hemlock, so plowing is done with care rather than speed. Storm nights run long and the coffee goes cold, and still there is nothing like a clean black driveway at daybreak. That is winter work in these hills — showing up while it is still dark, and letting the morning look easy.
