Davies Lawn and Garden

About Davies Lawn and Garden

April comes to this county in pink and white — redbud along the fence rows, dogwood in the dooryards, whole hillsides of fruit trees opening at once. Under the seminary cupola the grass turns from tired brown to something worth stopping for, and every bed in town wants its winter coat pulled off. Davies Lawn and Garden tends lawns and plantings through that turn and all the way to frost: mowing, trimming, bed care and the steady seasonal work that leaves a yard looking cared for rather than merely cut. Rain is generous here and the growing season is long, so from April to November the calendar simply doesn't let up. A garden that greets you at the front step is a small daily gift, and worth every hour it takes.
