About MACaFE Landscape

Half of Freeport is built on a pitch, its yards terraced up from the flats in short green shelves a mower has to be coaxed across. MACaFE Landscape takes that ground as it comes — cutting the slope, edging along retaining walls, mulching beds so an April downpour doesn't carry them into the street. Spring arrives early down on the river flat and a week or two later up on the ridge, which makes one hillside into two seasons stacked on top of each other. The aim is a property that reads as a single piece from the road: crisp borders, tidy beds, grass evened out from wall to wall. Watching a steep, awkward lot come out looking effortless is the whole point of the work.
