About Holbein Inc

Freeport sits at the elbow where Buffalo Creek hands itself over to the Allegheny, and on the coldest mornings the river breathes a fog that silvers every rail, mailbox and windshield on the climb up the hill. Holbein Inc works those hours, plow down and headlights in the mist, opening the borough's driveways and lots one clean pass at a time. A river town gets its weather twice — once out of the sky and once off the water — so the salt goes down where the shade never quite lets go, along the north walls and the low corners near the lock. There is real satisfaction in a lot squared off at the edges while the streetlights are still on. By the time Freeport is awake and moving, the way out is already there.
