About The Cottage Caretaker LLC

Some places in Rayburn Township are lived in every day and some are visited — a cottage down a gravel lane, a camp above the river, a family homestead that fills up on holidays and goes quiet again. The Cottage Caretaker LLC keeps the grass at both kinds: mowing on a schedule so nobody arrives to a knee-high yard, trimming back what creeps toward the porch steps, edging the path from the drive to the door. Armstrong County grows fast in June and slows to nothing in an August dry spell, and reading that is half the job. The reward is pulling in behind the work and seeing a place that looks expected, looks waited for. Lawns on the borough streets of Kittanning and out on the hollow roads get the same steady visit.
