About rupp&smith outdoor works

The first real snow of the year usually comes over the gap sideways, and by then the plows in Frankstown Township are already hung and ready. rupp&smith outdoor works runs the winter side of things — driveways and lots plowed, walks and steps opened, salt down before the melt-and-freeze turns everything to glass. November nights up here are long and full of radio static, and there is something good about being the only truck moving on the road. Each pass opens back up a little more of somebody's ordinary morning. By breakfast it belongs to them again.
