Clear Creek Company

About Clear Creek Company

Weather comes to Frankstown Township over the mountain first — you can watch the ridge disappear a full hour before the valley gets its share. Clear Creek Company works the hours after that, plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, spreading salt while the township is still asleep. Three in the morning on a back road is a particular kind of company: headlights, blowing snow, and a steady white ribbon closing up behind the truck. By the time the buses roll toward Hollidaysburg, the drives are clear and the walks have grit underfoot. That is the whole point of it — nobody should have to think about it at all.
