Mad Tree Service

About Mad Tree Service

Some mornings the fog fills the Venango hollows to the brim and only the ridge tops show. Then it burns off, and the oil-country back roads reappear with the river bending below them. Mad Tree Service works up in those hills and down in town alike: dropping a dead ash before it drops itself, trimming the reach over a garage, pruning the young maples along a lane. When wind comes through and lays timber across a driveway, the job is simple and urgent — get the trunk sectioned, the brush off the road, and the way in passable before dark. It is loud, physical work, and the quiet afterward is part of the point.
