About Great Mountain Tree Service, LLC

Two waters meet at Franklin: French Creek slides in from the north and joins the Allegheny under the bridges at the edge of downtown. The brick blocks along Liberty Street are lined with tall street trees that need attention every few years, and the hills above town grow oak, cherry and hard maple by the acre. Great Mountain Tree Service, LLC works both sides of that — removals where a trunk has gone hollow, trimming that lifts a canopy clear of a porch roof, pruning that shapes a young tree so it never becomes a problem. June storms come off the plateau fast, and the cleanup afterward is a matter of getting the wood out and the property back. When the trucks pull away, the sidewalk is walkable and the shade is still overhead.
