United Snow & Ice Removal

About United Snow & Ice Removal

A nor'easter announces itself in Fort Washington hours ahead — the sky flattens, the wind swings around, and the sycamores along Camp Hill Road begin leaning all in one direction. United Snow & Ice Removal is loaded and staged before the first flake, then out for the full length of it: plowing, clearing driveways and walks, de-icing, and returning when the wind fills a lane back in. Long storms are won in rounds; the property touched three times is far easier than the one saved for the end. Somewhere near daybreak the snow thins, the pushing gets easy, and the final passes go quickly. Then the shovels go quiet and the neighborhood wakes up to driveways it can actually use.
