About Long Pond Landscaping & Excavating, LLC

Up at the head of the Lackawanna Valley the green season starts late and ends early, so Forest City makes the most of every month it gets. Long Pond Landscaping & Excavating, LLC works that window — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and bed care, cleanups in spring and again in fall on the hillside lots above the old coal town. Summers here run cool at night and generous with rain, and lawns hold their color deep into September. The Endless Mountains turn early, and once they do the leaf work goes steadily on until the ground hardens for good. A yard cut clean against a mountain backdrop is worth the short season it takes.
