About Bidlingmaier Landscaping

The Delaware Canal keeps its own hours through Falls Township — flat water, a towpath of packed cinder, herons standing in the shallows like punctuation. Bidlingmaier Landscaping works both ends of that year: mowing lines drawn true across river-flat yards in the green months, plows out on the driveways before the first commuter is awake in the white ones. There is a particular satisfaction in an edge cut clean along a walk, and another in a driveway laid bare to the blacktop while it is still dark. The ground here is sandy river soil that greens up fast after rain, and the work is read season by season rather than by the calendar. What gets left behind is a property that looks looked-after — not fussed over, simply cared for.
