About Grants Property Services

Fallentimber sits up on the plateau where Clearfield Creek runs cold and dark between the old coal ground and the second-growth timber, and winter settles in early up here and is in no hurry to leave. Grants Property Services keeps drives and lots open through it — plowing out to the road, salting the pitch by the door, clearing the walk the wind will refill again by afternoon. Snow on this ground does not always arrive as a storm; sometimes it simply falls, patiently, for two days straight. So the plow goes back out, and back out again, from the village toward Coalport and Irvona until every stop on the list is passable. A cleared driveway on a low-lit plateau morning is a small kindness, and it is the entire job.
