Wood & Son Landscaping & Snow

About Wood & Son Landscaping & Snow

In Fairview, winter comes off Lake Erie in bands — gray walls of lake-effect snow that can bury one road and barely dust the next. Wood & Son Landscaping & Snow works both halves of that big-water climate, plowing and shoveling through the snowbelt months and landscaping the same ground once the thaw arrives. A January squall here might drop a foot before dawn, so the plow goes out early, cutting driveways open and clearing walks so the morning drive along Route 20 can begin. Then comes May, the lake turning blue again and lilacs opening along the old farm roads, and the work shifts to mowing, trimming and setting landscape beds to rights. Snowbelt to summer, a home by the lake stays tended.
