Harlan Tree Service

About Harlan Tree Service

Exton grew up around a crossroads, and the neighborhoods that spread out from it kept the farm trees — huge oaks and tulip poplars standing in yards that used to be fields. Harlan Tree Service looks after that inheritance: pruning to hold a heavy old crown together, trimming where growth crowds a driveway or the power drop, removal when a tree has gone past keeping. Summer thunderstorms run up the Chester Valley in a hurry, and the morning after belongs to chainsaws and rakes and a full sweep of the lawn. Cut right, a shaded yard gets its afternoon sun back and the flower bed underneath starts behaving. It happens one house at a time, along the streets between the Lincoln Highway and Marsh Creek.
