About Summit Valley Outdoor Solutions

Snow finds the high ground first around Evansville — the ridgelines whiten while the valley floor is still only wet — and then it works its way down the hollows to the roads. Summit Valley Outdoor Solutions is out in that hour ahead of everyone, plowing drives, opening lots, shoveling walks and putting salt down where the wind has packed the ice hard. A Pennsylvania winter morning is dark and blue and completely silent until a blade touches gravel. The job is finished when a driveway is open, a walk is safe underfoot, and the day can begin on schedule. That is the entire purpose of those early hours.
