About Michaels Snow Plow Services

The lake builds its own weather, and Erie wakes up inside it. Michaels Snow Plow Services works the hours before the city does — three in the morning, headlights pushing a white tunnel down a side street, the blade laying a clean shoulder of snow along the curb. Plowing, driveway and walkway clearing, and salt spread thin and even where the ice likes to hide under a thaw. There is a real satisfaction in a drive that is already down to blacktop by the time the porch light comes on. Erie, Wesleyville, Lawrence Park and the townships around them all get that same early start.
