About Snow & Leaf Solutions
Storms track up the valley into Allegany from the southwest and stall out against the hills, which is why March here can out-snow January without much trouble. Snow & Leaf Solutions is built for that late, heavy weather — plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps clear to the door, and treating the ice that forms when a warm afternoon runs headlong into a cold night. Wet Cattaraugus County snow is a different animal from the dry kind, and it gets pushed accordingly, back and wide so the next round has somewhere to go. The work is finished when the pavement is dark and the path is walkable in ordinary shoes. Hill roads and village drives, opened through the long end of winter.
