About J.C. Orengia Landscaping

Erie climbs in steps up from the bay, and the year can be read in those blocks — salted and bare in February, greening from the bottom up by May. J.C. Orengia Landscaping keeps both calendars: plowing drives and opening walks while the ice is still going out of Presque Isle Bay, then rolling the mowers out when the first warm rain brings the grass up all at once. The turn between them is the best week on the schedule, when a lawn that spent months under snow gets its first cut and suddenly looks like itself again. Winter is measured in drives opened by breakfast; summer in tidy edges and a clean margin along the curb. One route, two very different tools, and a full year in between.
