About Grassroots Fertilizing & Snow Plowing

Erie's ground wakes up slowly. The frost goes out in stages, the creeks run high and brown toward the lake, and east of town the vineyards are still bare sticks when the first green flush shows in the yards. Grassroots Fertilizing & Snow Plowing works with that timing — feeding lawns through the growing season, mowing and tending them as they thicken, and reading the soil's own schedule instead of the calendar's. A fed lawn shows it in July, when the heat comes off the water heavy and the thin spots would otherwise have gone brown. Then the year turns and the same trucks head out with plows on the front, opening driveways and lots while the snow stacks up along the fence lines. It is one long circle, and they stay on it.
